The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of heroes who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might appear out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team understands precisely where to head next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his debts and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their position as important members in the influential clan could help the party enter locations they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to travel to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Fans can expect discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
