"It's a bit different but then, I love running and just move forward - I'm not staying back that much," he added.

"I warn my defender 'I'm not staying' and that I'm just going to continue attacking.

"That movement is what I'm seeking. It's good fun."

'Surreal Feeling

Along with Cisse's six scores on debut, Stephen Ireland has netted 8 in 3 appearances for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd hit 5 on his debut match and Joleon Lescott, a centre-half by trade, scored a hat-trick in one game as a striker.

Wythenshawe are top of the Top Tier with 3 victories from 3 and a GD of +19.

Paul Barrow, 38, who features on the wing for the opposition, faced former Wigan full-back Maynor Figueroa on the weekend - and had to explain his young son who Heskey was.

"It was going round like a rumor they had all these ex-Premier League stars," said the player.

"I think I was a bit starstruck playing against him to be honest.

"Also Heskey got on and he's got over 60 England appearances.

"We competed well for a solid twenty mins but then we had a player sent off and it was tough.

"Our group really have not stopped chatting about it - I was phoning my mum and brother on the journey home.

"The opponents were all friendly, shaking our hands after the match - it was like facing a bunch of regular fellas.

"Now we are eager for the second fixture."
